Deborah Truhowsky actually started her legal career in international business and tax law. It was during an internship in Sweden that she first worked in litigation, an experience that literally changed her life as she decided to make this her primary practice area.
Deborah worked for 20 years at a personal injury law firm where she led their nursing home neglect and abuse unit and was a partner for over 15 years. In 2010, she opened her own firm to focus on her passion for protecting and securing maximum compensation for victims, primarily those of nursing home neglect and abuse.
Deborah is a staunch and committed advocate of the elderly. She lectures frequently on matters relating to nursing home neglect and abuse and has been asked to give testimony on the subject at a government hearing.
